Harvey’s goes the extra mile to create a loyal following with adult and younger patrons alike. The plentiful menu makes ordering lunch or dinner a treat and the value in itself is worthy of repeated encores and for more delicate mouths dessert is just splendorous.

 You might not find anything overly haute on the menu, but what you’ll find is a fine compliment to most tastes across the board, including delectable and innovative flavor combinations and efficient service.

The atmosphere is classic bistro that spills onto the veranda and pavement terrace, cheekily covered in grass and the courteous staff deliver with a fine tuned knowledge of all the dishes and menu.

We started with Crisp Fried Calamari served on a marinated aubergine with an avocado ice-cream and the Peking Duck Salad … this got our taste buds lusting for more... For our mains, it was Beef Fillet & Oyster

Tempura on a cumin infused carrot puree, with wilted broccoli stems, served with rocket trickled with an intense shiraz reduction was just tickled with the right amount of flavour and all delivered without pretence.

For dessert the definitive chocolate brownie accompanied by a nutmeg and cinnamon pot aux chocolate, and an intense dark chocolate and ginger ice-cream was sinfully delicious!

In short, we will definitely return and work our way through the rest of the menu.
